Call of Juarez Gunslinger

Were you ever a fan of the Call of Juarez video gaming franchise? You would be happy to know (regardless of whether you are a fan of the franchise or not), that Call of Juarez is back in its fourth installment of the franchise. It is back with bigger surprises, “badder” enemies to face, and a better storyline to top all that off. From the last Call of Juarez game to come out, Call of Juarez: The Cartel, which was set in the modern timeline of the present, comes Call of Juarez Gunslinger, the latest game that will have come out of the Call of Juarez franchise.
Call of Juarez Gunslinger is the fourth Call of Juarez game which will have come out. It will be a game which the fans have been asking for and raving about. Since the last Call of Juarez game (The Cartel) was not as successful and not as well-received by fans and regular games alike, the game franchise’s developer, Techland Gaming Studios, and it’s publisher, Ubisoft, have taken it upon themselves to fix what was disliked about the game, and bring back what was loved about Call of Juarez in the first place. Yes, that is right: Call of Juarez Gunslinger is coming back to the Old Wild West.
This move to bring back Call of Juarez to the cutthroat country was a response by Techland and Ubisoft to fans’ outcries and reactions to a somewhat dissatisfying Call of Juarez: The Cartel game. The franchise’s makers, particularly Ubisoft took those fan and general gamer responses very seriously, and decided to make Call of Juarez Gunslinger a game which is familiar to fans and gamers in the sense that it is back to the Wild West; but also completely new and innovative in more aspects than just the storyline.
Call of Juarez Gunslinger’s storyline will revolve around a bounty hunter, and as mentioned, will be set back in the Wild West. This bounty hunter, or, the “gunslinger” will be joined by the player during his dwindling twilight years and will act as sort of the narrator of the whole game. He will recall certain parts of his life, which occurred during the Wilder times of the Old West. It will be during these flashback meetings and encounters wherein the player will be playing the young bounty hunter/gunslinger. The player will eventually hunt down outlaws; but not any ordinary outlaws.
What Techland and Ubisoft had in mind with Call of Juarez Gunslinger was to make it sort of an “untold real story” behind the Wild West, and its most famous, albeit notorious outlaws, lawmen, and overall legends. The player would be hunting down and taking dead or alive, some of the most infamous names in the feral frontier that is the Wild West.
Some of the names which will appear in this game would be names such as Pat Garrett, the famous lawman who killed Billy The Kid, another name which will appear in the game (or was it Pat Garrett who had done in Billy The Kid? This is what the game is all about). Jesse James, one of the most well-known outlaws is another name. Butch Cassidy, another infamous legend makes an appearance in this game; and so many more do. Ubisoft and Techland are pulling out all the stops with Call of Juarez Gunslinger, and they are serious about really bringing the essence of the Wild West back to the Call of Juarez video gaming franchise.
Call of Juarez Gunslinger will be sporting the same type of game-play all its predecessors have come to be famous for, the first-person shooter type of game-play. Another fact which makes this fourth Call of Juarez game unique, however, will be the “arcade-style FPS” game-play the game’s developer is trying to make famous. Since Call of Juarez Gunslinger will be coming out for the PlayStation Network (PSN), for PC, and moreover, for XBOX Live Arcade for the XBOX 360, the “arcade-style FPS” is something very innovative for this gaming franchise.
In-game game-play will also include—aside from players being able to execute a lot more of new shooting techniques and other “gunslinging” action—a sort of free-roaming feel to the game, and will let players have a lot of different types of side-quests and numerous other distractions to the main quests and storylines. You will not mind this at all, as these distractions will be more of a leisurely break from chasing all the outlaws rather than monotonous, tedious tasks. All of this information, however, is still a little shady, as not too many details are being given out by both Techland and Ubisoft.
An announcement game trailer, however, for Call of Juarez Gunslinger, which you can check out if you click here, has been released as to the potential release date of the game, scheduled to come out sometime around next year, around early to mid-2013 (at the latest). The announcement trailer was released by Techland and Ubisoft as a sort of viral marketing promotion strategy, as with most of social media gearing towards that type of marketing strategy nowadays. The trailer reveals a gunslinger (most likely the character the player will be playing) sitting on a chair counting coins, while waiting for a man to fall off a chair in which he is standing on and hang to his death. You will be surprised as to who the hanged man is.

Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger

Techland has developed some of the most well-known games in the video gaming industry such as Dead Island, one of the best games of last year. They are most known, however, for their development of the whole Call of Juarez video gaming franchise. Of course, any gamer would already know the name Ubisoft. If you did not already know, Call of Juarez is set within the genre of an Old Wild Western first person shooter game. Other games which have gone down this path or genre have become not only cult favorites, but even Game Of The Year candidates (Red Dead Revolver, and Red Dead Redemption just to name a few). The reason why Call of Juarez: The Cartel was not widely accepted when it came out by not only Call of Juarez fans, but also the video gaming community in general, was because it veered away from its Old Western roots, and tried to go with the more modern setting. This was not very positively accepted. You Call of Juarez fans, and just general video gaming enthusiasts will be happy to know, however, that Techland and Ubisoft are teaming up again for a 4th Call of Juarez game, which will set to bring Call of Juarez back to its Old Wild Western roots. Enter Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

Rather, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger has answered the fans’ outcries and reactions to the previous game, and will be set back again to its Old Wild Western roots. This time, however, the video game developers will take Call of Juarez: Gunslinger one step further and revolve it all around the greatest legends—outlaws and law enforcers alike—of the Old Wild West.
This 4th installment of the Call of Juarez video gaming franchise’s story will mainly revolve around a bounty hunter, which will be the main character (you will play this character), trying to hunt down the Old Wild West’s greatest outlaw legends, such as the great Billy The Kid, Butch Cassidy, Jesse James, just to name a few. The game’s plot will “try to uncover and reveal the real, untold truth about the Old Wild West, and its most notorious outlaws and legends alike.” All of this, while still staying true to the Call of Juarez play style of the first-person shooter. This time though, the play style genre of the Old Wild West first-person shooter will be back. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger will definitely make the fans excited about an Old Wild West game again.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger will be more action-packed, more intense, and very much bloodier than its three predecessors. The video game’s developers have made it a point to answer each and every issue Call of Juarez fans and the video gaming community in general and make the game every gamer’s dream game. This is also the main reason why Techland is brining Call of Juarez: Gunslinger back to the Old Wild West.
Call of Juarez: Gunsligner will be released next year, but as to exactly when next year, the details are yet to be known (the early announcements are said to be at around early in the first quarter of 2013, but this may still change as video games’ release dates are very erratic). What is certain about this video game’s release is that it will be a cross-platform game. It will be released on XBOX Live Arcade for the XBOX 360, the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3, and the PC. Authentic Western with Call of Juarez Gunslinger

Gamers who are avid fans of the old Wild West gunslinger have always been looking for a game where they could practice their quick draw skills on some random hoodlum that happens to be robbing a bank. And though it has been a long while since gamers have been immersed in old Western games, gamers need not worry as Call of Juarez Gunslinger is fast approaching.

Coming early this 2013, Call of Juarez Gunslinger will be the fourth in the franchise of the Call of Juarez games. Fans of the Wild West will not be disappointed as the newest of Ubisoft’s offering will put players back in time as fast shootin’ bounty hunter bent on getting the heads of infamous outlaws.

Early screen shots of Call of Juarez Gunslinger reveal a very detailed old Western world. And with the game being a first person shooter, avid fans of the series or of the Wild West genre are sure to be awe-struck with the beauty of the graphics and the stunning attention to detail that will really immerse players back in time when the revolver was the law.

Gamers are set to expect the traditional Western setting of saloons, dusty towns, and gold mines as they ride through a world full of furious gun slinging and lawless thugs. Combining history with fiction, players will be tasked to chase down infamous outlaws such as Jesse James and Billy the Kid.

In the game, players will be able to use a wide array of guns from the common pistols to more powerful and long-ranged rifles. But what makes the newest of the franchise better than any of its predecessors is the ability to customize your character as players will be able decide on themselves on what specific gun skills they would want to improve on – this in turn will lead them to acquiring new skills that will turn any bounty hunter into a desert storm.

Though the series has not been that popular what with previous games of the franchise being set in other timelines and locations, Call of Juarez Gunslinger are sure to win back its fans and maybe a lot more as it promises to go back to its roots to the Wild West. Right from the roaring rivers tucked in some woodlands at the foot of great mountains all the way to the nervously busy towns you come across with, it is sure to make everyone wish they had a pistol of their own strapped to their waist.

This realistic approach to the Wild West was due to a lot of players who criticized the previous games of the franchise. Having heard the qualms and suggestions of the fans, Ubisoft has decided on putting the game back to the Wild West, where shooting at noon was as common as drinking in saloons.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger is sure to be a great hit what with all of the huge changes made to it. Coming out on the PC, Xbox and PlayStation, polish those guns as there will be bullets flying.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger Announced by Ubisoft

The latest addittion to the Call of Juarez series has finally been announced by Ubisoft this week. Call of Juarez Gunslinger will be hitting the stores for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in early 2013.

The fourth title in the franchise will have your adrenaline Pumping with all-new maps, weapons and hidden bonuses. Scour the wild West hunting down the most ruthless wanted men and women in the lands to ever hit the history books. Track down, hunt and kill Legends such as Jesse James, Billy the kid and Pat Garrett. Prepare yourself for no holes barred gunbattles and rack up huge combos. As you progress through the game you will get the chance to develop your shooting skills and attain new weapon abilities, which will turn you into the wild West’s quickest and finest gunslinger.

After the cartel fans were desperate for the game to be restored to its original glory, which is why call of juarez gunslinger is returning to the (very) wild West. this time, gamers will be taking control of a new character and a new format, which will add ample opportunities to game. One of Techlands proudest additions to the game will be the character progression module allowing you to develop and Tailor your character to your particular playing style. You will be able to spend your experience points on new skills, including rifle abilities and dual wielding specialities. This will allow you to become the most feared hired gun in the West.

Expect gunslinger to include all the typical wild West tropes such as crooked sheriffs, tumbleweed and ghost towns. the developers are hinting at this game to be a download only title which will be coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger is now being referred to as the Call of duty multiplayer equivalent, as players will be unlocking perks and abilities throughout their online experience. but will Techland adhere to these rumours by adding some more variety to the gameplay – to do this the developers would have to come out with a whole new system, including classes such as tanks, soldiers and medics for dynamic online gameplay and adrenaline boosting crossfires and gunbattles. But don’t expect to only see guns in this title, you can be sure to expect plenty of arrows flying past your head from the natives of the West.

Several critics have been referring to this game as the next red dead redemption, but will it a live up to the thrilling multiplayer experience given to the gamers by rockstar. we would like to think so, it would be great to see a new open world map full with many quests, gangs and dangers. Followers of the call of juarez gunslinger title are adamant on the ability to create their own posse in multiplayer, as permitted in red dead redemption. Having your own posse adds a whole new experience to the online gameplay, allowing strategical and tactical assaults and getaways.

The developers are not giving too much away about call of juarez gunslinger, however, when they do, it will all be here so don’t forget to check back for more info soon!

Out with the New and Back to the Old West – Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

Games publisher Ubisoft has revealed that their new first-person shooter Call of Juarez: Gunslinger will be available for the Xbox Live Arcade, the Playstation Network as well as the PC sometime in early 2013.

There and Back Again

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger goes back to its roots and will be set in the wild days of the Old West. The game’s publisher will do away with the modern setting that the previous Call of Juarez game, Call of Juarez: The Cartel was set in. In Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, players will be thrust back in the good Old West that is full of gritty, sleazy saloons, tumbleweeds and not to mention the hourly gun duels and other forms of riff-raffs during the said time line. The change in setting was the result of its developers and publishers listening to the feedback the gaming community had regarding what a good Western shooter should be – with Sheriffs and Outlaws, venturing out on the untamed Frontier, as well as experiencing the classic Cowboys and Indians skirmishes and gun battles.

The new Call of Juarez game will center on flashbacks from an aging narrator that will drive the story to unfold. Of course, no Western will be complete without its famous gunslingers and legendary outlaws – Billy the Kid, Jesse James and Pat Garrett are said to have an appearance in the game and would certainly have something in store for the players. That being said, the game revolves around a bounty hunter who is hot on the tails of the most notorious, ruthless outlaws the West has ever known. It is the player’s job to hunt down these said hooligans and prove who the best gunslinger in the West really is!

Concentration mode, the staple mode of the franchise, will be back – this mode lets the player execute a number of awesome moves which will leave one’s enemies eating a lot of lead. Moves such as targeting multiple enemies and unloading a lot of one’s firepower all in one shot, hitting the perfect headshot even while sailing in the air, unleashing a gun-rifle combo that will mow down baddies left and right in a matter of seconds as well as other lethal combinations of moves that players will discover as they progress on the game, all while under the constant air of gun powder and spurts of blood

Speaking of progression, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger will introduce a new dynamic and immersive skill progression system that will help players customize one’s character and level up certain abilities that will cater to the players’ style, decimate tons of enemies and will provide players different and unique gaming experiences.

Hankering for an old-fashioned shoot them up? Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is set to deliver and then some as it takes the player on a wild thrill ride over the rugged Old West filled with many bullets, arrows flying and blood spilling from all the gun battles that is sure to make one’s Cowboy fantasies surely satisfied!
